Performers engaged on in-house BBC TV productions are set to obtain greater pay charges because the company has inked a brand new settlement with UK actors union Fairness.
The settlement was introduced this afternoon after Fairness members voted to ratify the adjustments.
The deal, which takes impact from April 7, will see a 13% enhance to a performer’s episodic charges alongside a rise in different prices reminiscent of manufacturing day funds and time beyond regulation charges. There may even be a ten% enhance to minimal weekly charges.
