Lincoln Middle for the Performing Arts at this time introduced the preliminary design for a $335 million transformation of the west facet of its Manhattan campus, a venture that can embody the creation of a brand new out of doors efficiency area, group park areas and the elimination of a long-hated wall that separates the cultural establishment from its westernmost neighborhood.

Different key components of the venture, as described by Lincoln Middle:
- A group park that includes a garden, water function, tree groves, and backyard for public enjoyment;
- A welcoming entrance that dramatically opens up Lincoln Middle’s Amsterdam Avenue face to neighbors approaching from the west
