The ’70s rockers have been in the course of their iconic tune “Don’t Cease Believin’” on the Houston Livestock Present and Rodeo in NRG Stadium — when the stage instantly went darkish, viewers footage exhibits.
The gang saved belting the tune … however they ultimately stopped as they realized one thing was not proper — and we hear stagehands at one level rushed the stage with hearth extinguishers.
Not lengthy after all of the commotion … the viewers was knowledgeable the night time was over, an announcement studying partially … “Resulting from an unexpected electrical incident beneath the stage space, we regretfully announce the cancellation of tonight’s Journey live performance. We sincerely apologize to all followers for this disappointment.”
Seems like rescheduling choices and/or refunds are within the works … and fortunately, there have been no stories of any accidents.
As soon as a make-up present is all squared away … they gotta open with “Lights,” proper???
