The Busan Worldwide Movie Pageant (BIFF) is lining up Korean Cinema programmer Jung Hanseok for its new competition director position, although the choice course of isn’t but full.
The competition has named Jung as its most popular candidate, and revealed that the ultimate choice course of will happen on the second basic assembly of this 12 months, scheduled for March 20 on the Busan Cinema Heart.
Jung has served because the competition’s Korean movies programmer since 2019 and served as a jury member for the Buil Movie Awards, Jeonju Worldwide Movie Pageant and Seoul Unbiased Movie Pageant, and as an advisor for the Florence Korea Movie Pageant and Hong Kong’s Asian Movie Awards.
