Regulation enforcement in Louisiana used a suspect’s head as a punching bag throughout an arrest in broad daylight on a public avenue — and the vicious beatdown was all caught on video.
Try the wild footage, obtained by TMZ … two cops try to restrain the person who’s mendacity on his aspect on the the bottom in Harvey, LA, within the New Orleans metro space, round 6:30 PM Thursday.
As you may see … one the officers is kneeling all the way down to cuff the person whereas the opposite cop is standing over him in the course of the wrestle.
Abruptly, the cop who’s standing delivers 3 crushing blows to the person’s head together with his fist … adopted by a brutal stomp on his cranium. With every blow, you may see the person’s head jerk violently up and down, together with his cranium bouncing off the pavement with the ultimate two strikes.
We do not know but what led as much as the caught-on-camera police assault … however eyewitnesses instructed us the person’s face was bloody, though it was unclear the extent of his accidents.
Witnesses additionally instructed TMZ … 7 to eight police vehicles arrived on scene as officers handcuffed the person and finally positioned him inside one of many patrol autos, whisking him away.
A rep for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Workplace, which covers the realm, tells TMZ … Deputies arrested a suspect for battery on an officer, disturbing the peace, drunk and resisting by drive or violence. It is unclear if an inner investigation is underway.
