Netflix‘s Squid Recreation is gearing as much as launch its last season on June 27, and a brand new trailer (above) reveals that the video games proceed, and no one is secure, not even lead character Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae).
In a surprisingly morbid second, Gi-hun is introduced out in an enormous black present field, which the guards use as coffins for fallen gamers. Curious and scared, the gamers strategy and open the field, revealing Gi-hun inside. As he awakens, viewers are transported to the beginnings of a brand new sport. A large gumball machine dispenses pink and blue balls, representing the fates that may decide the following problem.
Netflix teases, “Selecting up from Season 2’s devastating cliffhanger, Season 3 thrusts Gi-hun (Participant 456) again into the brutal coronary heart of the video games, decided to dismantle them as soon as and for all. Nonetheless haunted by the betrayal and lack of his closest ally, Jung-bae (Participant 390), Gi-hun faces new perils — together with the Entrance Man, who shockingly infiltrated their riot disguised as Participant 001.”
Acquainted faces return: The Entrance Man, detective Hwang Jun-ho, and gamers Myung-gi (Participant 333), Dae-ho (Participant 388), Hyun-ju (Participant 120), Yong-sik (Participant 007), Geum-ja (Participant 149), Jun-hee (Participant 222), Min-su (Participant 125), Nam-gyu (Participant 124), and the pink guard No-eul.
After watching the action-packed scenes, the display screen goes to black, the audio reveals a child is crying. It implies that in some unspecified time in the future, Kim Jun-hee (Jo Yu-ri) welcomed her child.
