Jesse Colin Younger, a singer recognized for his work with the Youngbloods, is useless.
The singer/songwriter died Sunday afternoon at his dwelling in Aiken, South Carolina … in keeping with his spouse and supervisor, Connie Younger. The reason for loss of life is unclear.
Jesse is greatest recognized for offering vocals on the Youngbloods’ Sixties hit music “Get Collectively” … a world anthem calling for brotherhood and peace.
Along with his time with the Youngbloods, Jesse additionally launched a solo profession … taking part in the guitar and singing socially acutely aware lyrics on a slew of solo albums.
Jesse blended people, blues, jazz and nation with some rock and roll … and he had his arms on all aspects of the music trade … he was a songwriter, singer, instrumentalist, producer and label proprietor.
In recent times, Jesse hosted a podcast … and he was at all times an activist for social and environmental points, as a product of the Sixties hippie counterculture period.
Jesse was 83.
