A helicopter plummeted from the skies above New York Metropolis on Thursday, crashing into the Hudson River — and the terrifying incident was caught on video.
A number of folks have been killed, in accordance with numerous native stories. A number of shocked eyewitnesses recorded the chopper on video — a portion of it may be seen on the floor of the water …. whereas the remainder seemed to be submerged.

In keeping with police, the helicopter got here down close to Pier 40 at Hudson River Park, however nearer to the New Jersey facet of the river, shortly after 3 PM native time.

Witnesses reportedly described listening to a “loud thumping noise” on the time of the crash.
In keeping with preliminary stories, emergency boats instantly responded to the crash.
