
Publish Malone has simply added “designer” to his resume.
On Monday evening, the “Higher Now” singer debuted his new trend line, Austin Publish, with a runway present in Paris on the Hôtel de Bourdon – Maison Pozzo di Borgo, the previous mansion of late clothier Karl Lagerfeld.
Malone, 30, whose actual identify is Austin Richard Publish, launched the label’s inaugural assortment, “Season One: At First Mild,” an assortment that hones in on “Dallas western with Southwest ranch influences,” per a press launch shared with GQ.
“From his Texas roots to the mountains of Utah, his eye was formed by ranch tradition, turquoise, boots, denim, and years immersed in international luxurious by means of music,” the assertion continued.
“Drawing on these foundations, the label fuses Dallas’ western heritage with the spirit of the Southwest, reframed by means of an Americana lens.”
Standout gadgets embody fringe jackets, dark-wash denim embroidered with stars, plaid tops and, after all, a medley of cowboy hats.
In the meantime, Texas-based Lucchese Bootmaker was the unique footwear model.
Malone took to the runway on the finish of the present, clad in a light-wash denim-on-denim look, straw hat and a press release belt — with a beer in hand, too.
In an interview with WWD on the occasion, the 30-year-old revealed {that a} trend line is one thing “he’s all the time wished to do.” Malone added, “And I figured, why the hell not proper now?
