EXCLUSIVE: Saltburn star Sadie Soverall and Bottoms actress Havana Rose Liu have been set to star in motion fantasy venture I Am A Monster.
AGC is launching worldwide gross sales on the venture forward of the Cannes market with CAA Media Finance aboard for home. Commercials and music video director Léo Berne directs.
Pic is being produced by Iconoclast’s Robert Walak and Jacob Perlin with Madants and Mid March Media. Movie 4 will executive-produce and co-finance.
The logline reads: “Whereas grieving the loss of life of her mom, eighteen-year-old Mila (Soverall) all of a sudden discovers she possesses a supernatural potential to see a parasitic entity that’s invisible to people and leeches off their sorrow. Together with her visionary pal Daybreak (Liu), Mila units out to make use of her newfound potential to avoid wasting her little sister Luna from being preyed upon by the vicious demon.”
Léo Berne based the French collective Megaforce with Raphaël Rodriguez, Clément Gallet, and Charles Brisgand in 2009.
